Local Beaches

Bahia Santa Maria

Along The Corridor, A gorgeous beach great for walking, exploring or feeding the multi-colored creatures of the deep (bring tortillas or bread crumbs). This is an excellent spot for snorkeling or just relaxing. The beach is a marine preserve and a prime destination for charter boats offering snorkeling and Scuba diving excursions.

Medano Beach

Where the action is - and where hotels, restaurants, street vendors and the like - all vie for your attention. It's the main swimming beach and a watersport haven where you can rent snorkeling gear, wave runners, kayaks, jet-skis, parasailing or sign up for windsurfing lessons.

Lover's Beach

Also known as Playa del Amor, Located on the Sea of Cortez side of Land's End, this picturesque locale is known for its secluded stretches of sand, clear azure waters, and striking rock formations. A water taxi is necessary to get here (or you can always kayak over). There's amazing snorkeling on the bay side; this is also a marine sanctuary for colorful tropical fish. Watersports are also plentiful.

Costa Azul

The region's best surfing beach (where, yes, you can rent boards), also well-known for the restaurant Zippers.

Divorce Beach

Not a good swimming beach but a nice place on the Pacific side (a short walk from Lover's Beach) to sunbathe and relax. Also just "fun" to say you've been here after strolling Lover's Beach.

Palmilla Beach

This popular beach, one of the best for swimming, is "the" spot for locals on Sunday afternoons. Many prefer walking past the rock formations where the water is calm and the vibe laid back.

Solmar Beach

Also known as Playa Solmar, TerraSol and Finisterra Beach, A wide stretch of white sand that faces the Pacific Ocean and runs from the rocks at Land's End to the base of Pedregal to the West.

Playa Acapulquito

Along The Corridor, A swimmable, surfable beach with calm waters. Cabo Surf's Mike Doyl Surf School makes it easy to rent boards and take lessons.

Playa Bahia Chileno

Also known as Chilean Beach, A quiet and more sparsely populated beach excellent for swimming, diving, snorkeling and relaxing.

Playa Barco Varado

Also known as Shipwreck Beach, This small beach is popular with the surfing crowd. It's also where the remains of a Japanese trawler sank in 1966 making scuba diving another popular focus.

  Mountain Standard Time, which is one hour ahead of Pacific Standard Time, one hour behind Central Standard Time and two hours behind Eastern Standard Time.

  The Mexican peso is the official currency. The exchange rate fluctuates, but banks are usually the best place to change money. American dollars are commonly accepted as well.

Just because your Villa offers a full-kitchen doesn't mean you have to use it. Room service, complete with your choice of vintage wine, is available from 7:00am to 11:00pm daily, and offers a varied menu of epicurean flavors for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.

Car Rental

All your car rental needs can be met by our on-site Concierge department at ext 637. Car rental is also available in the airport lobby upon arrival.

Medical

Villa del Palmar provides on-site medical services available 24 hrs a day at the Plaza Clinic. If needed, minor and major surgeries can be conducted on-site. Should an emergency arise, air and ground evacuation is possible via a fully-equipped ambulance service.

Fitness Center

Our top-notch Fitness Center Facilities include a fully-equipped gym with free weights, a cardiovascular section, resistance training equipment as well as women's and men's locker rooms with sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi.

The Taco Bar

Adding to the overall experience is the incredible view of El Arco, the famous rock formation that so many vacationers have come to identify as one of Cabo’s greatest attractions.
